MGI instructed to digitalize Hoar Cross Hall inventory
“On behalf of Hoar Cross Hall, we are very pleased to announce that we have instructed MGI to begin the process of digitalising our inventory with their RFID tracking technology. Comprised of three initial stages, the project will digitalise many of our physical onsite assets, future-proofing our hotel operations whilst also transforming the guest experience.
Phase one ensures key hospitality assets like towels and robes are effectively tracked and traced around the hotel and spa, providing otherwise unseen visibility on their movement and usage. With the added security of safeguarding these items from loss and theft, we have also been able to upgrade our towelling, providing a more robust and premium product that can withstand more washes. Additionally, stock counts will now be automated, providing real-time visibility on consumption, whilst also saving valuable time for staff members. Phases two and three of the project are scheduled for 2022, beginning with the tagging of in-room items and products within the spa, enabling guests to use high end features on a range of appliances and ultimately offering a more exclusive and seamless guest experience.”
